  • Establishment of a branch office in Suhl, Germany.
1985
  • Founding of the Noras Roentgen- und Medizintechnik GmbH.
  • Initially, the company worked on improving the MR imaging of surface coils. NORAS became well known to MRI users thanks to its inhouse development of an adjustable spine coil in cooperation with SIEMENS and the Institute for Imaging Diagnostic in Wuerzburg, Germany (“Institut für bildgebende Diagnostik – Dr.Wolfgang Keil”). This was followed by the development of 40 different surface coils.
