Breast Biopsy 4-Channel Coil BI 320-PA-SI
Due to its four high-resolution channels the Breast Biopsy 4-Channel Coil BI 320-PA-SI is very suitable for diagnostic imaging and, thanks to its open design it serves also for biopsy removals.
The Breast Biopsy 4-Channel Coil BI 320-PA-SI has been specially developed for the Siemens Tim® Systems and is available as a Siemens OEM product under the designation "4-Channel BI Breast Coil“. For diagnostic imaging, the patient rest could also be used with the optional Siemens 16-Channel Diagnostic Coil. The Breast Biopsy 4-Channel Coil BI 320-PA-SI is only available through Siemens.

Optional Components
NORAS MRI products has developed different components for the Breast Biopsy 4-Channel Coil BI 320-PA-SI. These are, on the one hand, the Breast Biopsy Kit and, on the other hand, our Cranio-caudal Fixation Units. Subsequently, both products will be briefly introduced.
Breast Biopsy Kit
The Breast Biopsy Kit consists of a steam sterilizable fixation unit including a Post & Pillar positioning unit. Part of the biopsy kit is a 12G non-sterile training needle including Post & Pillar needle guide sleeve.
For the Grid version, the kit additionally includes two training grids (medial/cranio-caudal and lateral) as well as one Grid needle block.
The sterile pieces* that are necessary for the biopsies are not part of the delivery content but can be ordered separately.
An individual biopsy package including consulting can only be assorted via NORAS MRI products.
All original components are exclusively available through NORAS MRI products or through authorized resellers.
Cranio-caudal Fixation Units
For diagnostic imaging, NORAS MRI products has developed special fixation units to immobilize the breast. With the Cranio-caudal Fixation Units you can optionally immobilize one or both breasts at the same time. Using this device, one can save up to 50% of scanning time, while reducing non-desired motion artifacts.
