Biopsy Unit for GE 8-Channel Breast Coil

Our Biopsy Unit for the GE 8-Channel Breast Coil serves for fixation of the breast as well as for MR-supported biopsies.

The following biopsy methods are available:

  • Post & Pillar
  • Grid

With the NORAS Biopsy Systems for the GE 8-Channel Breast Coil (Post & Pillar and Grid) a biopsy or wire placement can be performed laterally, medially and cranio-caudally. Our Biopsy System consists of superior plastics (PEEK) and can be used for all traditional sterilization processes (autoclavable).

The Post & Pillar Biopsy System for the GE 8-Channel Breast Coil consists of one medial and one lateral positioning unit as well as one Post & Pillar needle guide. Further components of the system are one Post & Pillar marker and one needle guide sleeve set for 13G.

The Grid Biopsy System for the GE 8-Channel Breast Coil consists of one medial and one lateral grid as well as one grid markerblock and one grid needle block set for 14G and 12G.
